The Process

Working hand-in-hand with every client, the Wright Developments team adheres to a building process that makes the experience enjoyable and professional for all involved.

1. Concept
For new clients who have not already sourced design plans, Wright Developments arranges a Concept Meeting to establish their requirements, style, original concepts, site specifications and budget.  During this appointment, the team listens closely to what each client wants to achieve, provides suggestions based on their experience and talent, then sets about producing sketch plans, inclusion summaries, budget estimates and draft project timelines.  This comprehensive overview gives every client the information and confidence they need to proceed to the Design Phase.

2. Design
Upon confirmation of the design concept and budget framework, Wright Developments progresses to organising any required survey plans, soil tests, working drawings, engineers’ slabs and frame designs that may not have already been arranged by the client. At this stage, a preliminary deposit is required and a fixed price for the overall home is calculated.

3. Contract
With a fixed price relating to final drawings and engineering now set, contract documents including a detailed specification are now prepared. Upon signing these documents, 5% of the contract amount (less preliminary amount) is paid as a deposit.  The plans are submitted to a certifier for construction approval and the client is introduced to Wright Developments’ colour consultant to assist with choosing internal and external colour schemes.

4. Construction
At this stage, the client is introduced to a Wright Developments Supervisor who will oversee the project from prior to construction right through to the final work. This qualified, experienced and professional Supervisor guides the client through the various construction methods that will be employed and arrange client inspections throughout the construction process. The engineer who was appointed to complete the structural design of the home is also engaged to inspect and certify the construction process at its various stages.

5. Completion
Wright Developments does not regard any job finished until the client is completely satisfied. When all construction work is finalised, the client receives a comprehensive Handover Kit, which includes approved plans, guarantees and certifications, providing confirmation that all processes and regulations have been adhered to.  All that remains is to open the door and start a new life in a home that has been created to perfection.
